LATINO Magazine will be presenting an AHORA Student Day on February 27, 2014 at the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas. This is part of a national program that has been presented in Albuquerque, San Diego, Dallas, Detroit, San Jose and other cities. All students, teachers and parents are welcome and there is no cost of any kind. Transportation to and from schools is provided at no charge. Free refreshments will be served and complimentary copies of LATINO Magazine will be distributed to all who attend.
What: AHORA Student Days expose high school students to role models in various careers in a fun, positive environment and demonstrate the value of staying in school and getting an education.

Where: Student Union Auditorium at the University of Texas-Pan American campus in Edinburg, TX
Who: Students from Rio Grande Valley high schools will participate in an interactive panel with executives from Microsoft, Chrysler, State Farm Selective Service System, and other companies.
